PS2861B-1 este un izolator cuplat optic care conține o diodă emițătoare de lumină GaAs și un fototranzistor de siliciu NPN.

Pachetul are un efect de scut pentru a opri lumina ambientală și este montat într-un SOP Shrink (Small Outline Package) pentru aplicații de înaltă densitate.

Datorită tensiunii mari de izolare dintre intrare și ieșire, PS2861B-1 este potrivit pentru interfață și circuite de transfer de semnal care necesită montare la suprafață sau de înaltă densitate.
